Wiling time away in an airport. |
This is a fountain. Water cascades from onw level to another by running over the top of the row of stones and pouring down the wall that supports the lip of the previous level. For the thing to work properly, the lip has to be exactly level for the full length of the edge. And at the corner it has to be exactly level in two directions.
